About Me

Hi, I'm Rachel Eldridge. I wear multiple hats in a rapidly-changing environment, bringing organization and detail to my work with teams located in two U.S. states and in China. I am a 2015 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and Leadership Studies, and a concentration in organizational communication. Today, I continue to develop my skills in public relations and operations as a communications and administrative professional.

I am passionate about research, relationships, writing, and restoration.
Research
I value precise facts and big ideas. In undergrad, I had the opportunity to work with two of my professors on research projects, and the process was fascinating to me. I loved learning from the literature, gathering data, and applying new knowledge. Even in a non-academic setting, strong research is vital to my practice of ethical and effective public relations, communication, and leadership. By researching thoroughly, we can build a strategy that anticipates problems, avoids past mistakes, and maximizes opportunities for success.
Relationships
Relationships are the key to who I am. Relationships are at the root of my work with the clients and team members I serve daily, and relationships are at the core of what I learned through studying communication and leadership. I recognize and appreciate the interconnectedness of all the people and structures that contribute to an organization’s success. I find great joy in cultivating these relationships and exploring how various people and groups can come together to accomplish a shared vision in a mutually-beneficial way.
Writing
The written word plays a beautifully integral role in communication. I am thankful to have had many semesters of honing my writing skills in various styles. Writing plays an important part of my work as well. I enjoy writing across multiple platforms, and I have regularly contributed copy to e-blasts, social media channels, and other communication on behalf of my organizations. Restoration
I believe that people are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. We have the capacity to recognize problems and resolve them. By working together, we can improve ourselves as individuals, maximize our impact as an organization, and renew and restore our community.
